Founded in 1920. It is the supporting institution for the National Center for Stomatology and the National Clinical Research Center for Oral Diseases. Its Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery remains the world’s largest plastic surgery medical center and China’s leading center for plastic surgery in medical treatment, teaching and research. Founded in 1957, it is China’s first Grade A tertiary specialized hospital focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiothoracic diseases after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Centered on two major discipline clusters: thoracic tumors and cardiovascular diseases, it masters the most extensive spectrum and full range of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for cardiothoracic diseases in China. Annual outpatient and emergency visits exceed 860,000, with more than 28,000 surgeries performed each year. The proportion of Grade-III and Grade-IV surgeries is over 90%. It has 7 national key experimental platforms represented by the State Key Laboratory of Kidney Diseases. The hospital is equipped with nearly 60,000 sets of sophisticated medical equipment worth nearly 7 billion RMB, including the world-leading 5th-generation CyberKnife, Da Vinci surgical robot, digital angiography machine, cyclotron, the world’s second ZAP accelerator, computed tomography therapy system, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, magnetic navigation interventional system, intraoperative radiotherapy system and cobalt-60 therapy unit.

Founded in 1918. Departments including Hematology, Orthopedics and Traumatology are at the top national level. It has achieved outstanding results in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors, and emergency and critical care.

Founded in 1956, it is a Grade A tertiary general hospital with orthopedics and burn medicine as key disciplines. Annual outpatient and emergency visits reach 3.0053 million, surgeries 90,400, and inpatient admissions 100,500. As the National Orthopedic Center, the hospital was the designated medical support hospital for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games.
