Founded in 1907, the hospital has an annual total of over 6 million outpatient and emergency visits, nearly 200,000 inpatient admissions and more than 100,000 surgeries. As Shanghai’s first medical institution offering foreign-related medical services, it is a designated medical facility for consulates of 10 countries. It has served more than 600,000 foreign patients from over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Founded in 1844, it was the first Western medicine hospital after the opening of Shanghai port. It is equipped with advanced medical equipment including dual-source photon-counting CT, PET-CT, PET-MR, Da Vinci surgical robot, X-ray stereotactic radiotherapy system, TomoTherapy system, linear accelerator (LA), 320-row 640-slice ultra-speed spiral CT, hybrid operating room system and telemedicine teaching system. Founded in 1918. Departments including Hematology, Orthopedics and Traumatology are at the top national level. It has achieved outstanding results in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors, and emergency and critical care.

Founded in 1958. It takes a leading position in China in the fields of early tumor screening, precision radiotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. Equipped with advanced facilities such as PET-CT, CyberKnife and proton therapy system as well as a multidisciplinary consultation system. The hospital has 72 departments and 626 physicians. Annual outpatient visits exceed 1 million, with more than 30,000 surgeries performed each year.
